Certified Quality
C24 structural construction timber represents the industry standard for load-bearing timber framing across Europe, providing architects, engineers, and builders with certified, predictable structural performance essential for modern construction. The C24 classification under PN-EN338 standards defines specific minimum values for bending strength, modulus of elasticity, density, and other mechanical properties, enabling precise structural calculations and ensuring consistent quality regardless of supplier or species. This standardization has made C24 the default specification for residential and light commercial timber frame construction, roof trusses, floor systems, and structural wall framing throughout the European Union.
Our C24 timber undergoes rigorous visual and mechanical grading to ensure compliance with PN-EN338 requirements. Each piece is individually assessed for knot size and distribution, grain deviation, wane, splits, and other characteristics that affect structural capacity. Following grading, timber is kiln-dried in computer-controlled chambers to optimal moisture content of 16% (±2%), significantly below the 20% threshold for structural timber. This controlled drying process minimizes subsequent dimensional movement, reduces checking and warping, and ensures immediate readiness for construction without on-site seasoning delays. All C24 timber is clearly grade-stamped with species, strength class, moisture content, and certification body identification for full traceability and building inspector verification.
We offer C24 structural timber in four premium European species, each providing certified C24 performance while offering distinct characteristics for specific applications. Nordic Spruce delivers the most cost-effective C24 solution with light color ideal for exposed applications. European Pine offers excellent treatability for exterior or ground-contact applications requiring pressure treatment. Silver Fir provides resin-free timber essential for heated interior environments and painted finishes. European Larch combines C24 structural capacity with natural durability class 3-4, eliminating treatment requirements for many exterior applications. Standard dimensions range from 38x89mm (2x4 equivalent) to 63x225mm (2x10 equivalent) in lengths up to 6 meters, with custom dimensions available for specialized applications. Our technical team provides comprehensive support including span tables, connection details, and project-specific structural calculations to ensure optimal material specification for your construction requirements.
Select the optimal timber species for your specific architectural requirements. Each species offers unique characteristics suited to different applications.
All C24 structural timber is carefully bundled and strapped with weather-resistant packaging to protect against moisture ingress during transport and short-term storage. Bundles are organized by dimension for easy identification and efficient unloading. Each bundle carries grade stamps, species identification, moisture content certification, and quantity labels. For long-distance transport or extended delivery times, moisture-barrier wrapping provides additional protection. Bundles are configured for standard forklift or crane handling with clearly marked lifting points.
We coordinate professional logistics across Europe through our network of specialized timber transport partners. Standard delivery includes flatbed truck transport with forklift or crane unloading for heavy bundles. For large construction projects requiring phased delivery to match framing schedules, we offer coordinated multi-drop shipping with delivery timing synchronized to construction progress. Our logistics team provides delivery coordination, site access planning, and can arrange weather-protected storage at regional distribution centers if site conditions require delayed delivery. For commercial and municipal projects, we offer direct-to-site delivery with material handling support and installation consultation.
Minimum order: One full truck load (approximately 20-25m³ depending on dimensions) for optimal freight economics. Smaller quantities available with consolidated shipping surcharge. Volume discounts for large construction projects, developer accounts, and trade customers. Contact our sales team for project-specific quotations and delivery scheduling.
